What is Screen Printing?
Screen printing is a printing technique that originated from the ancient Chinese. The technique uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The stencil forms open areas of the mesh where the ink or other printable materials will be pressed through using a roller or a squeegee. This technique produces sharp-edged images and is one of the most used techniques today. The screen printing process is also known as serigraphy, serigraph, and silkscreen printing.
